Any sea beach is an attraction to the nature lovers and tour favoring people. The Sunset and The sunrise are attractive scenes in any sea beach. In one sea beach can you enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset? Is it possible or imagination in Bangladesh? Really, it's possible, If you go to Kuakata sea beach. It is under Kalapara thana, district Patuakhali in Barisal division. There are no sea beach in Indian subcontinent where full sun rise and sunset can be observed. Every year million people come here to enjoy this rare attractive scenery.

Kuakata sea beach is 14 KM long, Coconut trees and gardens give special images to Kuakata sea beach. Ganga moti Chor(Strip of sandy land) is one the east and Fatra forest is one the west of Kuakata. This forest has a lot of similarity with the mangrove forest Sunderbans. A lot of Golpata trees are also available here. Tourists visit Fatra forest through a nice river cruise by engine boat.

The Rakhain community has inhabitanted here since long time .They came here from the Myanmar. They are Buddhists also. A Buddhist temple and a statue of Buddha made of Bronze are in this temple. There are fish-folk village in Kuakata. A lot of fish available here. Tourist can take the taste of fish very cheaper rate at here. Kuakata sea beach is a holy place to the Hindu community. Rash Puja and Fare are arranged here in the Month of Kartik(November).

Motels, Hotels and restaurants are available & cheaper here. There are buses of BRTC and private company start from the Saidabad (Dhaka) bus terminal area to Kuakata everyday. Everyday launches starts from sadarghat launch terminal to Patuakhali at the evening. Next morning launches reach Patuakhali, then bus, micro bus, car are easier vehicle to come Kuakata. There are flight to Barisal also and then bus, micro or car are available for Kuakata. Special attraction in Kuakata is motor cycling. Motor bikes are available here for rent.
